Watts Bar 4th of July Boat Parade
Join in for the FIRST EVER 4th of July Boat Parade in the City of Kingston.
The theme is "Let Freedom Ring" and the "Most Patriotic" entry wins a $150 Cash Prize. 2nd Place wins $100 and 3rd Place wins $50. "People's Choice" wins $50, as well.
Starting at Hwy 58 Landing, boats will follow the Kingston Parks & Rec lead boat going along the shoreline down past the downtown dock, then along the Dyke, past the Gravel Pit and then circling City Park and past Byrd Field.

This is all a part of The Largest 4th of July Firework Show in East TN "Smokin The Water." "Smokin The Water" is a fun-filled day on the banks of Watts Bar Lake with food and craft vendors. Along with the boat parade there is a ton of other activities going on like: live music, car show, hot dog eating contest, frozen t-shirt contest, homemade raft race, and the largest firewors display in East TN.
